Large watch!, January 12, 2009 By This review is from: Fossil Men's Analog Black Dial Watch FS4311 (Watch) I bought this as a birthday present for my boyfriend. The watch was excessively large and it didn't "feel" or "look" real- like the metal felt almost like plastic for some reason. My boyfriends' previous watch was a Fossil so I trusted the picture and ordered it anyway despite the comments already previously warning me that this watch might be too large. But you've been fair-warned. I returned the watch but will be finding myself a Fossil store to purchase one in-person instead from the Fossil store. I trust the brand but I think its best to buy these types of things in-person!

Not heavy for its size. I had an inconvenient with it tough: I opened it out of curiosity and I couldn't close it, no matter how much pressure I would put on the back cover (with my hands). I had to take it to the closest jewelery store where they have the right tool to close it, but they couldn't close it either. I had to send the watch to an specialist who charged me 20 bucks for closing it.
I know most people wouldn't open their new watch. But this is an inconvenient that everybody has to deal with when replacing the battery. And paying extra 20 dollars for every battery replacement doesn't sound very appealing for a 100 dollars watch.
